Have been there several times, always received friendly service. Nice contemporary setting and the food tastes good. Value for money is ok. Will be back in December.

Was very tasty cake, complying with corona regulations was not a problem. Was quite full, but we were lucky and got a seat after about 10 minutes of waiting.

Just great. A breath of fresh air in furnishings, ambience and menu and still the good old café on Hellmair-Platz. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There are no recommendations when it comes to food, everything is good. The corona rules are implemented well, so that you always feel safe. It is worth reserving a table for breakfast on the weekend, as Hellmairs is not an insider tip for a good breakfast in the old town. Thank you for delicious food and great drinks with you. The managing directors and their team really do a great job. Even during this difficult time, you can constantly come up with new things that attract us as guests. The quality despite Corona, where even a duty roster becomes a challenge, is perfect every day. Child-friendly, fond of animals and always friendly, we always like to come! We were very satisfied, our food was good, the young waitresses very friendly, hygiene measures exemplary. We were in the large room where there were 10 tables, 5 of which were not allowed to be occupied, which I personally cannot understand. Very unfriendly staff. My son, 5 years old, was not allowed to use the toilet. I was very unfriendly asked to leave by a member of staff and a second stood down on the stairs and also said very, very unfriendly, almost aggressively that we had to leave because we didn't consume anything. I can understand all of that, I would also have "bought" a coffee or a cocoa ... but this more than unfriendly manner was terrifying. Especially with a child.

I always enjoyed going to Hellmaier's! Are no more today! I or my daughter were denied access to the toilet (we weren't guests, but would have paid for it, offered it)! By the way, we fight for you too! I wish you all the best! It was human today under all pig!

The place really impressed me. The renovation looks really great, the staff is really friendly and courteous and even the manager speaks to the guests at eye level. The dishes were delicious, the service was very friendly. However, there was a little misunderstanding, so we were asked after a while, if we wanted to eat something. The price-performance ratio is average for the normal menu, the lunch dishes are cheap! I had tagliatelle with vegetables from the lunch menu, they were really delicious.
